tacoma floods

i have a 2001 toyota tacoma with a v6 ,the problem i have is sometimes when it sets 4 or 5 days it floods when i try to start it,this is the only time it does this ,also a couple times when it has done this it cranks fast as if it is out of time or something thanks

Correct me if I am wrong but aren't 2001 Tacoma's Fuel injected? if so then it can't flood. If it takes a while to start you may have a problem with your fuel pump or some other part of your fuel delivery system.
