Never had a problem with the car, drove to work, parked, when went to start the car again the engine turned but it didn't start. Sounded like there is no gas and the gas gauge doesn't move, and stays below the Empty.
I know I had more than 1/2 a tank of gas, but to make sure I added 4 more gallons, still the gauge didn't move and the engine didn't start.
All other electronic and lights work fine.
Tried to hear for the fuel pump engaging, but couldn't hear it, and finally towed it to a mechanic that had it for 3 days and didn't find what the problem is. He says that there is no sparking and that probably I will have to replace the Engine Computer Module, does that sound right, is there anything else that I can try? Thank you..

Have him replace the Crank Position Sensor first. Look at the top of this part of the forum.

you might want to check your fuel reg. inside the fuel tank it is a common problem for jeeps and can cause that problem because not hooked electronicly will not read on cpu the achool in the gas is very well known to eat those and way and can cause turn over problems and werid idleing problems

It sounds like there is no power to the fuel tank. You say the gauge is flat, and the pump is not running, that sounds like an open circuit to the sending unit and the pump. Check the fuses.
A mechanic has had the car for 3 days and can't determine why it won't start? You might consider taking the car to someone else.
I know the CPS will keep you from firing, but will it give the symptoms of the fuel gauge?

I don't think it would. When you turn the key on you should hear the pump prime up first thing before the engine turns over or the ignition is activated.
