1995 dashboard help

ive been looking around to see if it would be cheaper to replace my dashboard or to fix it. The prices ive foud are really high and i was wondering if anyone knows how to repair cracks. I know this may sound like a stupid question but i already tried to repair it with bond and fiberglassmat and it didnt work, it still cracked.

lmctruck.com has replacement dashboards, OEM style, for less than expected. I replaced mine for about $250.00 Looks new, and great.
