Air conditioning cold on passenger, hot for driver

Hi there. I have a 2001 3.1 Pontiac Grand Prix. I just replaced the Blower motor resistor as told on this forum, because the A/C module only worked on the highest speed and not other one. I was getting cold air altough it was only on the highest setting. After it was replaced, the A/C module works from speed 1 to 5, but now I only get cold air for the passenger and hot for the driver and also with some less air flow, this only on the driver side. The air flow on the passenger side is cold and normal.

I want to know what's going on because were getting high temperatures here and I need the A/C fast. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Most likely, your refrigerant needs to be re-charged. The way the HVAC system is designed, when it gets low, you'll lose coolng to the driver's side first due to the airflow over the evaporator core. IF you have a very rare SE model with the dual climate control/dual zone manual HVAC system, the temp actuator for the driver's side may be blocked with debris or may be bad. If you have just the standard 3-knob HVAC system (no separate driver/pass temp settings), the only thing that can cause your problem is low refrigerant.
