a month ago i noticed that my car was useing alot of coolant and there was no sigh of leaking, pulled the oil cap off and there was coolant in the oil, so i assumed it was the lower intake, no problem- so i replace the lower intake and the upper intake, now the vehicle had a rocker arm or a lifter noise, i made sure i set the right push rods in the right area becuae ones bigger t han the other .. and i torqued every t hing to spec, now the car has this god awful ticking noise, and it never was there before, i also went fron 10w30 to rotella 15w40 to see if it would go away and it didnt, i also have a loss of power, can anyone please help me

(also when i drained the oil the first time it had alot of coolant in it, i think it might if wased out the engine, is that posible???
i can post a movie clip on my server of it making the noise

15w-40 won't help and can actually hurt your engine, and it's probably made for diesel engines. I'd remove it asap.. If your 100% positive you got all the pushrods back where they came from, then you could have a lifter problem.

I had an intake gasket failure a while back, and while I had it tore down, I flushed and primed all the lifters in case any coolant found it's way in them. It was noisy at start-up and ran like shite for a few minutes, but after a few minutes of idling, it cleared right up. I'm at 217,000 miles and they're getting noisy again. Probably time to replace 'em this time..
