Burning coolant! Need help!!

I recently replaced the intake manifold on my 97 Civic HX. Now coolant is leaking into and burning in the combustion chamber sometimes causing it to misfire. I cleaned off and replaced the intake manifold gasket. Seriously doubt the leak is there. It's not overheating bad, just running a bit over normal operating temperature, so I doubt that the head is warped. I don't believe coolant gets routed to the throttle body so it can't be leaking there. From what I've been reading, it's most likely the head gasket. Is there anything else I should check before committing the time, effort, and money into replacing the head gasket? And how much should I expect to pay to get have the head gasket replaced? My wife and I are planning to move cross country and I can't afford to pay big bucks to get this fixed. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

A good shop can pressure test your cooling system to verify
it's a head gasket.
If it wasn't doing it before the manifold gasket change I would sure
double check that first. A head gasket is going to be expensive
to have done.:smokin:
