Hey guys, sorry to bring up a car other than the sentra, but i wanted some opinions.

I was looking at both the cars (comparison) and they are almost the same in width height weight and powere etc. just a different way of getting there...like the Evo and Impreza!

so do you think these two are the next 4 door fighters?

like how mitsubishi and subaru 'compete' it'll be the same with mazda and nissan?

i dunno just a thought.

anyway, i'm torn between the two now. I"m finally ready to get my new car but...i can't decide anymore! i juist want opinions. if you guys were in my situation, what would you get?

the protoge forum is dead, you guys here are more fun! which is one reason i'd get a sentra :D one more thing!

i checked a few dealers and they want likw 22-24 thousand for the mazdaspeed protoge!! is that forreal? base msrp is 20,500 with no options and etc. and they want 4k over!? is it because it's limited production? is that reasonable??

dude, get the spec. that turbo mp3 is pretty sick, but i don't think it has the torque. especially for the price. get a spec and then turbo that. then you'll have a beast.

if you want to tune your car for cheap, get the mazdaspeed protoge, it's going to be easy to tune and it'll go fast as hell...since it's a turbo, it has a lot of potential for big gains for cheap. Also, the handling in the mazdaspeed is superb, way better than a corvette z06...

On the other hand the Spec also has a lot of potential since it has way more displacement. The internals are pretty weak for big gains, but later on in the future when internal parts come out, $$$$ can fix that

I agree with the other 2 posts, and I'd like to add that its gunna be next to impossible to actually find a mazdaspeed protege. I think its something like 2000 that theyre releasing in all of the US, thats why the markup is so huge
