my abs light stays on the dealer said its the pump but it is about $950 with labor but they said i dont need it is there a way i can get yhe light to go out on the dash.thank you

To answer your question...no you can't...getting the system operating again is the only thing that can turn out the light. Gavin at http://www.modulemaster.com/ got me all fixed up with a rebuilt EBCM and pump and I think my total was under $300 even with installation. But that was a couple years ago and I think his prices went up a little.
What I did was remove my EBCM and send it to him...you can drive without it if you wrap the pump with plastic and keep it clean. He rebuilt the EBCM and sent a pump back with it...then I had the pump changed out and installed the EBCM and all that was left was to refill the reservior and bleed the brakes.
