Truck Building

I've just been given an Italeri a/24 Subaru Rally Truck as a gift, I've never attempted to build a truck before and I'm wondering if anybody has any advice or lessons learnt from such a project.

If anybody has any pictures of previous builds of trucks they would be much appreciated as well.

One of my biggest concerns is where I'm going to display this thing once I've built it as on the surface it looks like its going to be a big one.

Thanks in advance.

Building trucks is not that big a difference from building cars - but make sure you test-fit everything! When you glue the cab, make sure to hold the (just glued) parts together with tape, otherwise it will almost certainly shift and be crooked.
Same for the trailer...take your time and don't rush anything.

Have fun and don't forget to post WIP pictures here!

my thread on a Truck project. on hold due to lack of money, and various other reasons.

trucks allow massive amounts of detail to be added, and looking on websites reveals a huge amount of refrence pictures if you want to superdetail them.

there are two companies specialising in parts for model trucks.
