I have a canon ZR200 camera and windows vista ultimate. I am running into a problem.
I can transfer pictures via the memory card and usb link.
I can transfer video off the memory card via the usb cable.
When the camera is switched into tape mode it doesn't show up on windows as a device, also when using windows movie maker I have a dazzel capture device. When I try to record movies it shows no video input error. Ok
So my question is if I get the dv cable will that allow me to import video off the tape?
Thanks

Sure will, USB doesn't support video streaming via the tape, I think (not positive) it uses IEEE 1394, you'll need a firewire port on your PC to use the DV cable, but it will work.
