I own a 91' Escort GT with about 160,000 miles on it and I changed the spark plugs the other day to find a very small amount of oil on them. Is that bad? The Ford forum has had nothing to say after about 4 days ago since I posted it there.
Also some may remember about the 300zx raffle I posted about, the drawing is Saturday so wish me luck, even though I don't know you guys. lol
Thought I'd mention as well my friend is selling his '95 Camaro Z28 auto with only 117,000 miles for $2500. It has whatever engine came for the police, it's a 5.7 liter. No mechanical problems that we know of. I think I'm going to get that next month hopefully.

Im not sure how you would get oil on the plugs unless a) some one over filled the engine with oil and topped so high it hit the plugs or b) some cars have plug seals and if worn out it will leak onto the plugs. In either case i dont see it as a big deal, it'll just make the car run like crap till you fix it.

Assuming the LT1 is in good shape that sounds like a helluva deal. I would def take it if it were in decient shape.

Yea, like most said on here, the 'maro sounds like a really good deal, and as long as the engine is in good condition (which it should be at roughly 120k miles on it, dependend on how the owner was driving it... but if it's your buddy, you should have some kind of idea), then you should'nt even think about this one... It's a no brainer... and with the price tag of only 2.5k is also really good...
I say go for it man...

Only one, didn't want to waste money on a not so sure thing.
As for the Camaro I sort of test drove it today, it was on E, the gas, so I acclerated really slow just driving through the neighborhood. But, it's an auto, when it shifted into 2nd the car like really kind of jerked/jumped forward, not to violently but definitely enough to notice. Does that seem bad, otherwise all is well from what I know and my dad is going to look at it next week. Might test drive it to a transmission place, when dude puts gas in it, so they can take a look, but if all goes well I'll own it by the end of next week.
