92' Blazer, Tank replacment

Hey guys, I managed to drop the rusted out tank on my blazer, transfer my still semi-new fuel pump into the new tank, but I'm having a hell of a time getting the fuels lines attached. I've got the tank on a crate close to the top, but I can get in a position to reattach the lines! I've been trying for two days. Thing is though, the last guy who replaced the fuel pump, just cut the lines and took the tank out, and then used hose clamps and attachments to put it back together! If anyone has experiance with a good place to get my hand up into there, please let me know. This car is literally my life, as I can't go to work without it!

How about using rubber fuel line hose and clamps to attach to the fittings on top of the tank, making the hoses log enough to drape down the side of the tank when bolted in place? The you could use clamps and fittings to attach to the fuel lines where you can reach? People will say not to use hose , but if you search, I think there is high pressure rubber hose available now. Just be sure to double clamp the connections. I have had one man who does lots of mechanical work tell me that you can use the spray can undercoating on the metal lines you are clamping to like a gasket material. Just don't get any inside the fuel line, only on the clamping surface. He says will never leak. Have not tried this myself, but other info he has given has been reliable.

Thanks for the advice dude! I was having a mental battle as whether or not to do that. I figured, with that much slack on top of the tank, something might go wrong. The blazers ending its life with me. 210k and a completely rusted out bottom... I'm trying the best I can, but things fail faster than I can replace em.
