Wheel locked up

Okay so I was driving last night and my wheel locked up. No shaking or pulling. It was really silent and my car was barely going with my foot on the gas and my check engine light was on aswell as my battery and oil light? the only thing that I can think of is i was getting low on gas but can that really be what caused all of that???? somebody please help!!!!

you need to find out why the check engine light was on. have it scanned.

we need more info. motor size ,mileage ,any recent problems or work done on car? What wheel locked ,front, rear or steering ..............lol All the lights coming on ,it may have been about to stall. It could be ignition, bad elctrical connection, alternator going bad or battery. Has it had a tune up in the past year ?

what wheel. steering or an actual wheel?
