Anyone have any ideas on this one?

Yeah, the bulb for the SRS system has probably burned out. Does the SRS/airbag light illuminate during the bulb test when you first turn your key to run? Do you get a sequence of beeping when you start the car?

On KO, the light is solid for about 5 seconds then it goes out and stays out.
There are 5 beeps when I start the car.

Are you sure you are looking at the Airbag/SRS light and not the Check Engine Light or the ABS light? The code and the beeping would be indicative of a bad bulb.

If the airbag light goes on for 5 seconds then goes out, the system is working properly. The system will self diagnose as long as the key is turned on. If there is a problem, the light will illuminate. It doesn't sound like you have a problem.

Five beeps and a code of B1869 would indicate that the SRS computer is recognizing a problem with the SRS indicator light circuit, so we really need to understand if the SRS/airbag light is coming on for the 6 (+/- 2) second bulb test. There are quite a few bulbs that come on for the 6 second bulb test, not just the SRS/airbag bulb.
Per the service manual, "If the Electronic Crash Sensor (ECS) detects an air bag indicator failure in addition to another SRS failure, the ECS will send a signal to the Total Warning System (TWS) module to produce five sets of five tone bursts.
"An air bag indicator inoperative condition could be caused by:
"- damaged wiring on Circuit 608 (BK/Y).
"- a damaged or burned out air bag indicator.
"- an instrument cluster malfunction."

The SRS lights as described in my 2nd post. The SES light as well as the other lights illuminate at the same time.
I'm chasing a P0174, and when it sets the B1869 is also set. If I clear KAM and drive around, the ECS will read SYSTEM PASSED on the NGS+ and will stay that way until the P0174 is set.
I'm thinking it might be a false code, but I dont know why as the systems arent related.

Interesting. This sounds suspiciously like a bad ground connection somewhere.

I agree. I addition to checking for an open (or loose) ground, I would reccomend you check the bulk connectors to the cluster as well as the 3 bulk connectors at the firewall behuind and above th fuseblock. Water, a broken plastic connector tab and/or corrosion can play tricks and set all kinds of problem codes giving suspicious readings. Aside from that though, your 2nd post indicating the airbag light sequence (on for 5-6 seconds, then off) confirms the SRS system is working properly and is armed.

Could be a ground/connector issue as it's getting weirder. Now its a P1744 Torque Converter Clutch code.
I'll check/wiggle the connectors and see if anything comes up.
