Hello, My heated seats work fine unless the temperature is 10 degrees or colder. After it warms up outside they work again. Any one else having this problem? Help, Scott

Do both of the seat heaters fail to work below 10 degrees, or just one? Does the climate control system seem to work fine when 10 degrees or colder? Is there an indicator that would normally indicate that the seat heater is on? If so, does it indicate "on" even when the seat is not warming? How long have you left the seat heater on to determine it is not working? It will take it longer in the cold to feel as if it's working.
There are a couple of fuses in the Central Junction Box that provide power for the seat heaters, fuse F2.10 (10 A, hot in start or run) and fuse F2.2 (20A, hot at all times). You may want to make sure these fuses are installed securely and that they seem to be making good contact.

Both seats don't work when its really cold. Yes there is a light it also won't work. If its really cold in the morning drive to work they don't work but after it warms up I can drive it a lunch and they will be fine. So I don't think its a fuse otherwise they wouldn't work at all. The heater all works fine. I have left the seats on the whole trip to work and they still won't work. I wonder if there is a temp. sensor somewhere, but that wouldn't make sense because you want them to work when its cold. I guess I'll just wait for warmer weather and not worry about it. Scott

I wasn't suggesting that the fuse itself is bad, but rather the connection between the fuses and the fuse box. When metal gets cold, it contracts. If the metal contacts in the fuse box are barely making contact with the fuse, when they are really cold, they may contract enough to cause an open circuit, hence the seat heaters and indicator lights not working. As it warms up, the metal contacts expand and make contact. The current flowing helps keep the heat in the connection, etc.
Yes, I have seen intermittant fuse connections before (but on a Saturn, not a Ford product).
