Some kind soul decided that he didn't like my rear window and popped a hole in it with a hammer. I don't feel lie spending the money on getting it fixed by a "professional". I have heard that the glue / sealent used to connect the window is just 100% acrylic caulk. I have experience caulking stuff, but am concerned it will not adhere well enough. Will this work? How different is it than the glues / sealants the shops use?

Why don't you go to Napa or Autozone & get the glass sealer? They can probably give you tips on how to do it correctly too. Or, buy the book. That's what we always do for every car we own.

Thats actualy what I'm trying to find out. Is this a tube of something or another that I can purchase, or are we talking about heated glues? I will go by NAPA and ask if I get a chance.

I did a quick search on google for window sealer & came up with this. I'm sure there are plenty of other informative sites out there that can help you out.
