95 Chrysler Concorde, Motor and Transmission Mounts

How can you tell when motor and transmission mounts are needed. I've got no noise, shimming, etc. In addition, I am told I need a "Torque Mount." What is it used for and in relation to what, motor or transmission and when should it be installed? Mileage approx. 138,000. Engine 3.37 6 cyl.
