Hello,

Hope you like it

Because of the birth of my daughter I had no time to build at the moment. This moment I'm working on the bodywork and I've finished the exhaust-system.

The model is completed, but I didn't have time to take some pictures yet. But here is a little update of the incompleted model

Crisp line between the two cowling colors and a great shine on both of them. Will wait for the photos of the finished kit.

Very nice!!! How did you paint the exhaust to get that titanium look? A guy I work with has a GSX-R 1000 with full titanium exhaust and it looks the same!

First I stripped the chrome off the exhaust-system. Then I sprayed it with HUMBROL GLOSS BLACK. After this I used ALCLAD II POLISHED ALLUMINIUM. This is then sealed in with a few coats of Mr Hobby gloss varnish. Last I used some clear blue, clear red , clear yellow and smoke from TAMIYA.

Thanks for sharing your technique! I was VERY impressed with this build, I'll be checking for more of your work in the future!
