Painting

My car is in Florida right now, waiting in my Uncle's shop to get a fresh coat of paint :)

My door strips are coming off, and I told him to paint my mirrors and door handles :)

bad newss... I have to wait until the 15th to get it back :((((

I'm stuck with mom's Cavalier this and next week.... back to a stock 2.2 ohv :(.....

not flashy or anything...

no special looks from civic kids and neon pussies

no long glares from stangers and grannys

no special police attention, wishing they could find something to arrest me for... just plain old mom's car :(

oh yeah, it snowed this morning, and this van in front of me slid sideways, so in order for me to stop, it was either slide into the driver side door of the van, or slide off road...I chose slide off road, and in the process of doing this hit a chunk of wooden rail road tie thing... so two days after mom lets me borrow her car, I break the plastic bottom thingy. Great :)

Where in Forida is it ask excatly? I hate kids with neons also. Are you getting the whole thing paitned the same color red or a different shade?

there is like these plug drain thingys on the inside of them, and on the right one (the fine one) they were pointed down... and on the left on (the messed up one) one of them was turned up instead of down... PROBLEM FIXED :)

oh yeah, i forgot to mention that I drilled out the holes for the bulbs, so i can put super whites in there now :) I'll post pictures as soon as I get my car back...

so they're mounting my intercooler for me...and I was just told that he might have to remove my hood assembly... so guess what that means... hood pins :)

how much are you paying for your paint job? free? just paying for the paint?

paint is a christmas present from my dad and labor is a graduation present from my uncle...

basically free yeah, lol.

oh/...by the way. My uncle painted Hulk Hogan's Rolls Royce!!!!! just found that out the other day, I'm suppose to be getting process pics too...soon

We're starting on my turbo Saturday afternoon. First step taking off Cat-up to header and replacing gaskets and actually attaching the turbo :)

thats things going to be sick when your done with it.

I can't wait to see the pics of your car should look pretty sweet

I'll take some free paint/ body work... My body shop bill is more than the value of my car... !!...:(

On a much lighter note, YOUR CAVALIER SUCKS...
no im j/k, i love what your doin with it, and even tho u hate neons, i still think ur cars gonna turn out pretty nice. (u should respect peoples personal choice for a car because theres not many people out there who respect cavaliers) a quick question tho...why in the last picture is your back rim the stock rim and in the 1st picture ur front rims are aftermarket?

because the front rim (aftermarket) was up in the air so I decided to put my aftermarket rim on. Since it was already jacked up, I figured might as well... the other side hasn't been jacked up yet, so I havn't changed them...

as for the neon pussies, lol... well. technically you have an SRT4... neon... lol and that was basically refering to my friend with the silver neon who says he can hit 115 in the quarter mile... he's never done it on a track but he says his neon can do it...and he always tells me that my car is a turd and will never be able to beat his... the only thing he has done to his stock 2.0 is cai and 3" muffler tip...
