About 2 years ago I cracked a plastic vaccum line coming from the throttle body. It started sending a code 32 , EGR sw signaling incorrect.... EGR valve operation. I Spliced the vacum line together with a rubber vacum line piece and tiny hose clamps. I cleared the codes. The check engine light still comes on intermitenly. The car has run fine for the last 2 years, no hesitateing , stalling , missing, or running rough, hot or cold. I've cleared the code several times but it returns.
The Vaccum lines are a dealer part. Does anybody think that relacing the lines will correct the problems. The Egr seems to be working fine, and as I said the car runs fine. Is it hard to get at the vacum lines under the engine so I can do it myself or have the dealer do it?
I'd appreciate any advice!
