1987 s10 with 2.5 won't start

I have an 87 s10 with a 2.5 engine that wont start. I checked for spark at the disributor and ignition coil, and found spark at both places. then i checked the fuel pressure and it was fine. I pulled out a couple of the plugs and they were wet so i know there getting gas. i got spark and gas so, I don't know why it wouldn't be starting. It has new plugs, cables, cap, and rotor.

The ignition coil may be so weak it doesn't fire the plugs on the compression stroke. Did the wet sparkplugs smell like gasoline?

yea the plugs did smell like gas and even swapped the coil with a new one and still no luck. Im thinking its something on the distributor, like the pick-up coil.

I've had to replace the distributor in mine twice in the 6 years I've owned it...it's in an '86 Cutlass but it's still a 2.5L Iron Duke Pontiac 4 banger.
The module inside my distributor was not replaceable...had to replace the whole distributor.
The first time, the motor would hit a coupla times while cranking the starter but not run.
The second time, the motor would die in when you put it in gear or the AC compressor kick in.
