hey whats up fellas . um i got a chance to pick up a 95 gt with a shit load of miles on it like a 170k but its clean i would have never guessed it was that old or had that manny miles just buy looking at it. the guy wants 1200 . my buddys got a teg. thats just his toy but its pretty quick and of course monky see monky do . just wondering with about 5grand is it worth it or stick to the hondas for cheeap fun weekend moding

I wouldn't do it there isn't much you can do to a celica gt. There is not a big aftermarket support for the celica like the integra the only thing you can do to make it really fast is swap the motor with a jdm 2.0 motor. If you are looking for a budget import weekend beater buy a 91-94 sentra ser. There fast stock then buy a bluebird jdmSR20 turbo motor it is a direct swap you don't even need motor mounts becasue the stock motor in a sentra ser is a non-turbo sr20. After the swap you will have 220hp and it's will be a fun ass car my brother has one. I had a 96 GSR with all the bolt on and he beat me then I bought a 05 RSX type-s and is still beating me. Do some research on sr20det swaps in ser sentra it will be the best car for the money. Also if you are willing to spend a little more money a 91-98 240sx with a sr20det swap is even better becasue there rear wheel drive but the swap require more work because the stock motor is a KA24.
