If you have electric rear seats, do this:

Move the seat all the way forward, and then move back again about 1-2 inches...you'll see why later.

The plastic trim around the side of the seat by the door has to come off. You have to CAREFULLY remove the switch covers and there's a single screw to come off (not the gold colored one if it's the same as mine)...you pull it out about 3 inches away from the seat and wriggle it up away from the seat buckle.

Next, take a 13mm deep socket with a six inch extension and a ratchet and remove the bolt on the seatbelt buckle. Move the seat all the way forward and disconnect the electrical harness on the seatbelt buckle.

Under the front part of the seat in the middle, theres a little tab. Push that tab up and give a good sharp tug. Now look underneath the seat and you'll see a white (if it's like mine) connector for the power (for the movement and seat heating) for the seat. This will need to be disconnected.

Before you pull the seat up and away, feel behind the seat at two pins that go into two holes respectively. Feel where these are to familiarize yourself with where they are. Now remove the seat and disconnect that white connector if you haven't done so already.

Getting it back in is the bugger. The two mounting points under the seat need to be put into place first, then you need to pull the seat back out and attempt to line up the pins in their holes...after you've done that, push the seat back into place at the front, move the seat 1-2 inches back, reconnect your seatbelt and connector, replace all the trim and covers, and that's it...

More than you exected?
