I'm I the only one who doesn't like rap for racing? I'm more of a trance/vocal trance/drum and bass guy when it comes to racing. There's also a lot of rock/punk rock I like for racing to. I just can't get into rap music for racing.

I don't like rap at all. If I hear it from somebody elses car, the windows will go up. I like techno music for spirited driving...

Your not the only one Rob! I think rap is for drive-bys, tagging, and maybe even a streetfight or two but for racing you gottan have techno/trance or rock.

as for the vid, well damn that is one serious SRT-4. as far as drag racing goes its a monster.

I have to agree with that, because believe me I love to listen to Rap, but that's when I'm home, or in a car going extra slow in traffic, or not at all... Once the high RPMs kick in, the music is instantly switched to Techno, and sometimes even something like Linkin Park, or something of that sort...

P.S: If any of you tried drifting your car yet, and you havn't done it with the proper tunes playing, you have to try either some heavy Techno, or something... I'm telling you, it's an unsual experience... But remember to do it in a safe environment, if at all... :smokin:

Depends on what engine it is, though... And I'm not sure anyone would rather listen to my four-banger (yes, I have a four-banger-slowass-pos-car... for now) over some techno... :grinno:

nice races,, i was pretty sure he he'd get you from the 30 roll b/c that's a sweet spot in those cars, but hanging with him from 40 is pretty damn impressive. that's a mean skittle :grinyes:

anyone fast enough to beat a S/Ced Vette must have some words of wisdom.sorry bro i just dont come on here to often, any how on the races we actually race 3 times the first time we went from a 15 roll, it wasnt even a raced, he killed me, the 2nd race was better for me, my turbo was spooled up. and 3rd race was pretty good he still got me. so moral of the story is big turbo srt-4 sweet spot =40 to 45 mph roll. and as far as music, i just like rap, most of my races on vid i have rap on them. :)

Man, I loved the way my Vette ran... Even though it was bone stock, it was still sounding really mean... :shakehead ... Never got a chance to tune it... Oh well...

Ehh good runs. That Z06 could definitely move if it beat your car.

I've seen some dyno graphs of C5 Z06's with s/c's, and they have a ridiculous amount of torque all throughout the rpm band. Some member had over 500wtq w/ an S/C and a few bolt ons, and it was pretty much flat all throughout the curve.

Now it's time to mod the SRT-4 even more :D
