Hi all,
My 97' Cherokee gives no hot air (just warm air). All related parts were inspected and replaced, such as radiator cap, thermostat, coolant. Any advices are appreciated.

Did you back flush before putting the coolant in....
IF you have a vacum system check to make sure ALL vacum hoses are in the proper place and none are broken.

Just a suggestion here, but I would check to see if yours has a diverter valve. I am not sure if there is one on the 97, but I have one on a 96. It is near the firewall on the passenger side and connected to the heater hoses. There is a vacuum line going into it. The original one that I had desintegrated when I moved it to gain access to the rear spark plugs.

are all of your hoses similiar in temp? or do you have one that colder or much cooler to the touch (especially the heater hoses)

I had the same problem with mine, and there wasn't a thermostat installed. Because of that, the valve was open the whole time and my coolant never reached 190+ because it is COLD here.
I went to "replace" the thermostat and lo and behold, there wasn't one. As soon as I put in a new one, VOILA, I had heat.
but if you already are positive that it got put in there, then don't worry about it.
