Navigation in Standby mode

has anybody had any problem with the navigation system in their truck. Mine is in stand-by mode and will not let me turn on. Please help? thank you in advance.

How's you battery / alternator? The nav system requires 10v minimum to operate. I can start quoting from the manual, but the first 4 or 5 diagnostic steps require testing for greater than 10v at specific connector plugs.

BEFORE calling Technical Assistance, the Navigation Function Test must be carried out. The following information is needed to identify the system and software version. This information is available by selecting "Main Menu", "Settings", "System Information", "Configuration". "System Identification" information will appear. Please have this information and a detailed description of the problem.

Can you alternate to the "Settings" menu ? This is where the system information is stored.

My battery is new. I can't select any other mode. None of the buttons are functional. I can't even recall when it stopped. I will try and do the test to see what happens. Thanks again.
