How's you battery / alternator? The nav system requires 10v minimum to operate. I can start quoting from the manual, but the first 4 or 5 diagnostic steps require testing for greater than 10v at specific connector plugs.
SAMPLE:
Navigation System
PINPOINT TEST B: NAVIGATION SYSTEM WILL NOT SWITCH ON
B1: CHECK CIRCUIT 1002 (BK/PK) FOR VOLTAGE
B2: CHECK CIRCUIT 729 (RD/WH) FOR VOLTAGE
B3: CHECK CIRCUIT 1002 (BK/PK) FOR AN OPEN
B4: CHECK CIRCUIT 729 (RD/WH) FOR AN OPEN
B5: CHECK CIRCUIT 1537 (RD/BK) FOR VOLTAGE AT THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM DISPLAY MODULE (NSDM)
B6: CHECK CIRCUIT 57 (BK) FOR AN OPEN
B7: CHECK THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM CONSOLE HARNESS
PS:
Technical Assistance is available by phone:

My battery is new. I can't select any other mode. None of the buttons are functional. I can't even recall when it stopped. I will try and do the test to see what happens. Thanks again.
