I have had my buick for 3 years now and she has been real good to me. She has been nickle and diming me to death but i love her  . Ok now starts the problem when i go around a sharp corner it makes a loud clunk noise that sounds like its comming from the front passenger side. I can feel this in the steering wheel but it does not effect the turn at all. Now my new problem is starting, when i go down a road with slight bumps i can hear my suspension ( i think) making small clunking noises. I am a perfectionist with my car and it is killing me and i dont want to bring it to the dealer to get it fixed if me and my buddys can do it. Thanks guys i love this fourm now ive been reading it at work for hours.

It could be time to replace the ball joints and sway-bar end links. You may also have an upper strut bearing rusting & binding. Have a good front-end shop inspect the suspension components and tell you what needs replacement. You can do it yourself, if you have the right tools & know how.

Welcome to AF

Off the wall here but, make sure the battery is properly secured.

After htat I would get in there and visually inspect all components in the suspect area, starting with loose lugs

Good way to get started is raise the car up (support accordingly) and grab the wheel and see if you can create the noise/feeling you'r experiencing and track it to the source.

Note: a case of beer usually intices a buddy to help
