I have a 1997 Trans Sport with a bad head gasket. I know which cylinder is bad it is in bank 1. I was wondering if anyone has tried Blue Devil sealer.http://www.gouniversalproducts.com/product_overview.html it is 59.99 a bottle sold at napa and other parts stores. it claoms to be able to fix the problem. I was wondering if any one has tried this and weather it worked or not? Any input you might have would be greatly apprciated.. Thank-you
And it is a 3.4 like all 97's

"Bonds to metal, aluminum, ...
DO NOT USE IN NORTHSTAR ENGINES! "
?!? I'm baffled....
http://www.gouniversalproducts.com/testimonials.html reports loud and clear those who are satisfied...I'd think those who were not have been edited out.....:p
but...caught with the problem, depending on the life extension I need, I might give it a chance...but I think it would, if it did, repair the existing condition......not the possibility that the condition worsens.
anyway...pondering $60 or $1400....with hope...
I remember of one thread here like 2 years ago where something like that was used, not sure what brand, ...and it was reported as clogging the radiator .... well....
