Hey you got me fool!!!!
Now, while you are in the show, check for the Bergonzoni cars, 1/5th scale. They are introducing this car in the states, and the prices are hot, $399 for the base model, including engine, body, and wheels. $499 for a more complete model. I'm planing to get one at the end of the month.
Uhm, 1/18th, does HPI has that car on the website? I guess it must be electrical. Anyway, get a pic, and post it.

yah it's an electric RC car called the MicroRS4. Check it out at www.hpiracing.com very cool. it's stock *still* but prety darn quick. i painted it last night and damn it looks like (or better) one of my diecast models. :D wow, $400 for a 1/5th??! da da da damn, I'll check it out at the show. :D
primeraman- naw, i complain a lot about my P11 because i wanna keep a realistic view of our cars. and yah, it is kind of a dissapointment to have my instrument panel buzzing from time to time when it 's cold outside. :( but overall P11's are a sweet car. best looking sedan out there imo after lowering it. :D

hummm.. i dont think so. Ive never seen one yet. :( i designed my original front wheel drive electric RC car based on one of HPI's chassis. took the 4wd mini's front and converted into a rear...its pretty cool. took a lot of hours cutting and drilling and stuff, but it turned out real well. won a couple races with it too. :D got a mini civic body on it right now.
hey the hobby show was great! stopped in for about 4 hours yesterday and had dinner with my friend at HPI. he designed the new MicroRS4. :D its cool, if you're into rc and live in the snow areas in the winter, gotta get one (1/18th scale). turn your basement into a track like me, or get some dishes and make a track in your garage! hehe

Kenchan, can you suggest to your friend in HPI to make a Primera/G20 body. Some years ago they were asking for suggestions on witch body to make, I don't know if they still takes suggestions. But in you have an Insider, i think that could have more chances.
I will love to put an Primera body on my Nitro RS4

yep, I have been but since p11's havent been around much in the racing scene the last few years (from what I hear, I dont follow races...so) hpi has a hard time prioritizing this body. i have to work with the guys for about a year to finally get a gen5 prelude body. hehe. the sales guy there had a typeSH (now drives a IS300) and he was able to work it out with the body dept to get it going. they even modeled my lude a couple times before molding it since I have a factory spoiler kit on mine. :D well, turned out that the wheelbase and width was highly biased due to the rc chassis and turned out like....nnnnn... well, I haven't bought the body yet. ahahaha. :D
i'll keep trying though. the 1/18ths look almost like diecasts. my buddy made the chassis so that we can change length and width easily.. so the bodies are very close to scale, very minimal bias.

Well, Nissan won the BTCC in all categories in 99, drivers champs, manufacturers champs, team champs, independants cup champs (mat neal) before retiring from the top. That series was the most important touring car series that years. After Nissan, Volvo, Renault retire in 2000, and Audi, Peugeot on the previous years, the series degraded.
But boy oh boy, that was the best racing I have seen in my life. I have almost all the races on tape.:D

Wasn't that racing the best around at the time. We used to get the highlights on TV and the racing was awesome. Door handle/mirror smashing stuff !!!!.
But as you said....there is no intrest any more....they need to get Nissan/Volvo etc back into it.
Maybe this World Touring car champs ? may get some more intrest next year. I hope so.
You cant beat tin top racing at it's best :D :D

The Aussie V8's are great to watch...but its only for Holden and Ford.
Be good if they had a few more manufactures in it.
Yes...its not far untill the Rally of NZ....thats awesome to watch as well.
It's really good for a small country like ours to get these events.
