emission problem

hey guys I bought this 86 camaro few weeks ago the guy who I bought it from said that it's a 5.7 he swap engine (original 5.0 to 5.7) everything on the car from what I can see is kind of mess up and I'm trying to correct all defects.But first of all it won't pass smog and have til April 20 to have the smog done took it to a smog shop was told that the carburator needs to be rebuild in order to pass went to picknpull got it for $150 but havent try it yet. So smog inspection said that air injection fail, Vacuum lines to sensors disconneced, ignition timing fail, wiring to sensors disconnected and that the mil/check engine light fail as well and they also did a visual inspection and was told that it needs Carburator connector wires ,computer sensor wires, computer actuator wires and hoses & connections.Right now I'm desperate to have my car fix and don't know what all these staff means have few things done already but can't figure out how to install canister control valve. Need HELP asap on how to solve all this THANK YOU :frown:

Keep reciepts for everything you buy and all work done on the car to fix this problem. Most, if not all, states have a specific dollar amount that once you hit it trying to pass smog you can get a waiver that will be good until the next smog check is due. Now, someone sold you a real piece of crap there and knew full well it could never pass smog check. Being a carbed car to start with. I don't know if you'll ever be able to get it to pass with a 350 in it since the original carbs and ECM's were set up for 305's.
