Hi I am looking to upgrade my stock audio system in my 2004 Mustang. I was told to get 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch 10" subs which have 300 watt max power and 150 watt rms power. Does anyone have any opinion on these? And also what amps should i be looking at? I also have a couple other questions (im a complete newb when it comes to car audio), but i will save them for later. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help me out.

Budget, listening style and what you want with your final setup. Alot of bass, good sound quality.

I would figure out exactly how much room you have for subs before buying some RF's. They expect a lot of room in order to get loud, or have any kind of sound quality.
RF punch 10" subs are average, and its possible to find subs with the same quality for a better price. For instance, Kicker subs have always been known for taking a beating and they cost less. I was looking at ebay and got depressed to find the same speakers i just spent $169.00 a piece for, are going for $109.00 a pair. The shipping i think was like 50 bucks and the warrenty is ony 30 days on them, but i wish i would have known that before i spent over 300 on two 12's.
As for amps, IMO its best to go ahead and fork out the cash to get a dependable high quality amp.
