My 05 CRV, automatic front wheel drive, starting at approx 30k miles, producing a clunk noise from the front end on initial acceleration just prior to it auto shifting to 2nd. This only occurs on the first acceleration after the engine has been initially started. After this the transmission seems to shift fine through all phases of either automatic or manual shifting. Additionally, it can be reproduced when still rolling, shifting to neutral, turning off the engine, rolling to a near stop, turning on the engine, shifting to drive, and accelerate.......and clunk, there it is again just prior to it auto shifting to 2nd. Again, this can only be reproduced if the engine has been cycled off then on. This not affected by changes in outside air temp or engine temp.
The dealership today thinks it is loose exhaust bushings. I don't think they listened??????
Any thoughts please.......

Mine does this as well. Good to hear I'm not the only one getting it anyway.
