my vt commodore is over heating but the problem is the temp gage is reading normal but because of this the fans arent coming on. The only way i can get the fans to come on is when the air conditioner is on. please send back immediately

The ECU has its own temperature sensor, it is the two wire plug just above the water pump and normally is blue. The single wire one next to it is the dash gauge sensor. The blue one needs to be replaced, the ECU turns on your fans. $30 from Holden if you can fit it yourself.
