Is a aftermarket FPR really worth buying? I had one on my car before and it didn't do much accept help me monitor. I barely used it to adjust the fuel pressure. My friend wants one on his car. He has DSM 13g's and 550cc injectors on his VR4. I don't want to tell him no, because it didn't seem useful to me, but you guys may have another opinion.

the car comes with a FPR. why get another one if its working?
now if you were to upgrade your fuel pump, then an ADJUSTABLE FPR would be a good idea so you could maintain the correct fuel pressure. but since you have a stock pump, the stock FPR should be fine.

Be able to adjust the fuel pressure when starting to upgrade is a key factor.

^ i agree. i was trying to distinguish between a simple FPR and an Adjustable FPR.
how much can the fuel pressure be adjusted on the stock fuel pump?

I think it's a worthwhile mod if you have touched your turbos or injectors. Also even on a stock car it's nice to have it to troubleshoot fuel problems.
