Ok, so i have a great oppertunity to get new rims. my moms car needs new tires, and i mentioned to my dad that i wanted to get some new rims, and he told me that if i give my tires to my mom since her rims are 16 aswell, i could buy rims, and he would get me tires. so i'm looking into getting some 17x8 OZ ultraleggera's or the stock BBS's off the new EVO MR. however, if i go with the OZ's i was wondering if you guys could help me figure out the Offset that i want. i want the rims to be just flush with the wheel well. any suggestions? i was thinking of getting them with a 45mm offset, however, thats only because those seem to be the most popular. and i dont really know how to measure the offset. thanks

Well supposedly the Z wheels on my car 45, and I have 5mm spacers and flushness is damn perfect. So what, maybe like 40+ offset would just right?

yes, i want my rims to fit like yours, maybe just a little more tucked into the wheel well then yours is, so when (If) i lower the car the wheels wont rub on the fenders. so 40+ is good then? or should i stay with 45+?

Yea I'd imagine 45+ would be fine, if I didn't need those 5mm spacers they'd tuck right in like what you're looking for. IIRC, alot of DSMers have 43+

45s are best, they tuck under but only leave the tire like an inch away from the fender.
