I got my spec up to 120 yesturday, it was only the second time it's been that fast and I wasn't flooring it. I just wanted to see how the ride felt with my Nismo Coilovers. I stuck it up to about 120 and let off the accelerator. I think that I braked, but I can't really remember. Right after that, there was a pretty strong burning rubber smell... I hope it was just from my brakes somehow. Should I be worried? The car ran fine for the remainder of the day yesturday and all day today.

I don't know how the tiens are... but I'm seriously in love with my Nismo's. The suspension is definitaly stiff, but it really didn't compromise a lot of ride quality. I actually think my sentra rides better, because my suspension was pretty beat down at 82k miles. It only put an inch drop on my spec, but you can really tell. The install would have been easy... but beware of the bolts on the front shocks. We broke three wrenches on them. After we soaked them in brake loose for a couple hours, it took two of us to break the bolts free and they were popping and snapping at us the whole time. After that, one of the screws that bolts down to the sway bar snapped on us, so we had to pry the spring down and replace the screw with one that came from my stock shocks.. thank God they were identical. I would not torque the screws on the sway bar to 84+ lbs as it says on the instructions. If you go for it... don't use anything other than 6 point sockets, and you will need a 14mm deep well 6 point socket for the back coilovers. Aside from breaking all of the bolts, the install was a piece of cake. If you are going to go for it, IM me and I'll give you some more pointers. I would 110% recommend the Nismo Coilovers. I'll put up some pictures that I took in a couple of days.
