My supercharger Idler Pulley broke off yesterday when the bearing seized. Anyone know what size comes stock on a 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP? It's smooth, correct?

If you know the length of the supercharger belt AND the serpentine belt, that would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

I went to a GM authorized dealer and got my pulley cheap. I think it was 20-30 dollars. I got my belt from Autozone for a whole lot cheaper than the Dealer . The dealer wanted I think around 50 dollars for the belt and I got a Gator belt(i think) for less than 20.

I dont know the size the pully was but it was smooth. You can look at the Tips and Maintenance sticky and it has a picture of the motor. You should be able to find which pulley you need.

I almost fell out of my chair. Good advice jeepgclwj. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Stock SC belt = 66.0"
Main Serpentine Drive Belt for '98 = 93.5" or 93.0"

Thats the picture I was thinking of. Thanks bnaylor

The pully that broke on me was the number 9 one. It took a torx bit to rmove the bolt size 45-50 I think. It was really easy to take out and replace. The hard part for me at first was getting the belt back on but once someone told me how to do it it only took a couple of seconds..
