Good Oil Pressure-Too Good?

I have a 1999 S-10 Blazer with the 4.3 v6, 94,000 miles, no new mods or repairs. The other day the oil pressure, which always pegged right in the middle at 40, suddenly started running at 60 dead on. Any thoughts?

Also, has anybody with an AIRAID cold air intake ever noticed how cool the engine runs compared to before the installation? Just curious.
