Question about weather stripping for Door

Hey guys- new fella here. And thought I would really swing for the fences...with a question about weather stripping.

The weather stripping/seal around the drivers side door is missing some just huge chunks. So I need to replace it.

Has anyone else went through this that can recommend a good brand, or give a part number. Anything to help me out.

Much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Doug

my cavalier had a big leaking problem and it wasnt fun to sit on wet seats, but i went to the local autoparts store and got a universal roll of weather stripping and just put it in where it leaked, it was pretty cheap to buy but still keeps rain out

Honestly, call your local dodge dealer. Ther's nothing like mopar quality. I beleive it was like $60 but don't hold me to that. These cars are so common though, Check a junk yard. The factory one fit so much better than universals.

You can find quite a bit of universal stripping on eBay, its a little on the expensive side if you can find the exact match of what you need like tdanger suggested you could probably save about 20-30 dollars.

With all due respect to Tdanger, I'm questioning Mopar Quality since I have the same issue on m 2K Stratus. My weather stripping is warn out on my door. I guess my fat ass rubbed it a few to many times going in and out. But I've only had the car for two years. Also the weather stripping in the trunk easily ripped putting in luggage. The stuff is very poor quality! Not durable at all. But he's right about replacing it w/ OEM. It really is the best way to go. If the the the numbers here are right, saving $30 is not enough to accept the hassle of trying to make the stuff fit. Unless your buying a small amout as a temporary measure. Then it's only a few bucks for a couple feet of the universal stuff..
