i know that if you make changes with the biss, you have to ground it out first. how and where do you ground it out at, and what would happen if you dont ground it out?

Are you asking about grounding the BISS on the 2g pictured in your sig, or do you have a 1g? What year is your car?
If it's a 2g, you can't / shouldn't do anything with the BISS unless you have access to the dealer's proprietary MUT-II diagnostic tool. What are you trying to do with the BISS?

adjust it...lol. yeah im asking for a 2g, ive been messing with it here and there, trying to see how it would affect my crappy idle. ive just recently learned that its supposed to be grounded first, before you make any major changes. when my car is all warmed up and everything, it idles at about 500 rpms. just wanted to bump it up a little.

You can randomly mess with it, but it's not recommended since you really can't control what you are doing. There isn't a ground wire on the 2g for the BISS and the adjustment can only be done with a MUT-II. The problem is that the ECU uses the ICS and the BISS to adjust the idle. So as soon as you adjust the BISS, the ECU begins to change the steps for the ICS and "counters" your adjustments. The MUT-II allows you to hold the ICS at a specific position so the BISS adjustments are not countered by the ICS.
As for the idle, just adjust the screw that controls the idle at the front of the TB. :) I would also check things like disconnected vacuum hose and do a boost leak check.
You could always take it to the dealer if you really want to play with the BISS.

I was talking about the screw that adjusts the throttle stop. Here is a picture:
