01 Silverado Remote Door Openers Not Working

My remote door opener no longer works. Neither does my other one. Even with the battery changed, and programed.... still not working. I suspect the sensor that would pick up the signal is not working. Any ideas!!! Any one know where abouts the sensor might be??
