Engine will not Start 99 Blazer

I have a 99 Blazer 4WD. Yesterday it worked just fine. This morning it turns over good, but will not ignite at all. I tried for about 5 minutes and nothing. It snowed alot, but temps did not get very low.

I have checked spark to 2 plugs and they are getting spark. I pulled one of the plugs to check if it was wet. It was not.

I hear humming from the fuel pump. I loosened a connection at the fuel filter and I am getting some pressure (not sure how much).

I put some engine starter into the intake. Doing that really did not give me ignition either.

There were maybe 2 times through all of this testing that I got a slight ignition, but not much.

It is a 3 month old battery, I have been keeping it charged from all of the trying to start.

Any ideas of something else to try?

What engine?

Go easy on that engine starter fluid or you may blow it.

If good hot spark to all spark plugs and no security light staying on move on to fuel pressure check.
Does the security light stay on or blink?

Give us your key on 30 second prime fuel pressure and your engine cranking fuel pressure.

On a 4.3 if not 62-65 lbs of pressure you will need to repair fuel pressure.

Test that fuel pressue at the valve on the metal line under hood - need a $35 tester to do it like an Acton. Then if when you turn to run the pressure should build to 58-60 or more and when you turn the key off not drop but 2-3 lbs after a few minutes. That prime pump cycle only runs the pump for like 2 sec. Then in a cold wet climate I would put a new cap/rotor on to rule it out as a damp or dirty cap can cause cross or multi fires and no way to tell - easy thing to do to rule out and not chase your tail in circles if it was that all the time - been there.
