My Trannie went out on my 94 Ranger 4wd, my brother took it into a buddy to take a look at it and it was completely shot. When he picked it up it was in pieces. At the time i had no problem with him not putting it back together but now i have to turn it in to get the core charge back and was wondering if it has to be all back together to get the charge or if i can just turn it in the way it is? Also if i do have to put it all back together will they kno if it's not the way it was becuase i think i lost a few pieces (another long story) and am just gonna have to rig it all back together.

you can always go to junk yard and see if you can pick up a shot one more intact for a swap with yours.
i think cores are also prorated for intactness of the core.
