Cavalier is sold

Time for a new project, so I put up the Cavy a few days ago. New owner picked it up today, got a good price on it too. Bittersweet I must say.

Wonder if the new owner will do a normal door conversion. Or did you strip that sucker before you sold it?

He bought it as is. He said he'll be back this week sometime to pick up all the misc parts and junk I had laying around for it. As far as sale price, I got $2800 for her. Much better than I thought I would do.

As far as the new project goes, Im looking for a early sixties GM. I want to build a bellflower style custom.

Personally I would have stripped that puppy down took her back to stock and either ebayed or orged all the parts off and then sold the car as stock. There is a good chance that if well taken care of the combined price of parting things out and the price of the car would have been a touch better then the as is price. Thats just me though.....yeah, Im greedy like that. :lol:

i doubt the few bucks would b worth the trouble and hassel of taking all the parts off and returning the cavalier back to stock....good that you found someone 2 buy the car with a few aftermarket parts on it...
