Water leak side window

I have a 98 BMW Z3 and the side window leaks water. Is there any way I can repair the leaks without changing the seals. I've tried using silicone but it does not adhere to the rubber seal. Any Ideas!!

umm IMO if you can afford a Z3.. you can afford a new weather strip...

you can use dumb dumb or the proper name is butyl tape they sell it in shops that supply body shops.
