Resonator Delete.. Yes/No?

So i'm having my ubend delete put in a couple days and i just started wondering.. should i have them take the resonator out and run a straight pipe back to the y? I have read a few posts and they say that it makes the car a little louder, but that it makes it more loud on the inside than it does on the outside and that it can make a real annoying "groan" or something on long road trips. The outside loudness i am not worried about as i am soon getting louder mufflers. What i am wondering is does it really help with performance much at all, because im going to put a 3.4 pulley on after the ubend is done, and so is worth having it done, as i have heard the stock resonator is a pretty straight through design?

... I also have other supporting mods, the pulley isnt like my 2nd step haha... ZZP 1.0, k&n CAI, 180 tstat, manifold/crossover insulation wrap

Removing the resonator will certainly make it louder inside. The resonator being removed will not give you any better performance than with it in place since it does not really restrict flow. If it is in bad shape and you want to replace it put a glass pack muffler on in its place. It will deaden the sound but once again will not hurt performance.

I had mine taken out when i deleted the u-bend... yea it makes it a little louder inside and out but i coudn't reall detect any serious gains.
