Hello,
I have a 1998 Jimmy 4x4, 4.3L (W) with 160,000 miles that I have owned for 5 years. It has developed a problem where it will either start perfectly after the motor turns over at the most two times or will just turn over and never start. Sometimes I can let set for a few hours or overnight then it will start, other times it takes longer. After replacing the fuel filter during one of these not starting episodes it started immediately and ran perfectly for about a month until the next time. The fuel pump was replaced about year and half ago when it quit and that was the first major component to be replaced. I have checked the diagnositic codes and receive a PO147 error code. I would appreciate any guidance and suggestions anyone has on troubleshooting and repair.
Thanks!
David

Welcome to AF, get a fuel pressure tester on it and look for 58-65 psi key on. The code is the heated 2 sensor behid the cat, not the starting problem, though.
