Transmission very recently rebuilt. At first, it was very slow to go into reverse & many times you have to let the truck warm up about 15-20 minutes. Now, it won't go into reverse at all. I suspect the valve body in the transmission is bad & it wasn't replaced during the rebuilt. Can anyone give me any tips on replacing a valve body? Also, I have a 2WD blazer with a 4.3. Do you think the valve body in the 2WD blazer will fit into my S10 4.3?

The same year or close to same year might work.
If replacing the valve body best to get a transmission ATRA ot ATSG hand book for that year.
Most any transmission parts place have the hand books.
It shows picture of all of the little part and valves and tells you how to..
But on a no reverse I would say you have other problems.
Was the transmission complete rebuilt?
The reverse and low clutches are right in the back part.
When the valve body is off run a air check for any leakage on low and reverse piston clutch pack.
Run a search on here.
Blue Bowtie posted a how to on the 700-R4/4L60-E.
There is a lot of good info in there.
Good Luck

By the sounds of what you mention, this sounds like its an re-assembly problem. The "how-to" mentioned by MT is a great description in the process of disassemble/assembly, and will give you an idea on the stack up inside of the transmission. While I wouldn't rule out a possible valve body problem, it sounds like its more than that.
