Ok, I thought it was time for a new "Kills List" topic, so here it is.
My most recent Kill was a new Turbo Beetle (this chick was a kick a$$ driver)
I stomped mud holes in the little blue Civic SI down the street
I beat a Toyota Matrix - nice race Brad
Lost to a porsche boxter on highway( didnt think I'd win/just wouldnt backdown)

Well I don't know about you guys beating the RSX Type-S. I can't say you guys haven't though. But I got F@%$*&# ripped by 2 of them the other day on the freeway. One was a non Type S with mods and the other one was a Type S. Those guys were GONE!!!!. I couldn't believe it. It really sucked.

well, believe that we can beat type s's, cuz i beat one from 50 up to about 105. he just couldn't keep up. plus he was modded. so it can be done.

Well here's my list...
wins..
2 RSX TypeS
99 GSR (STOCK) ran like 3 times
96 prelude
2000 SI w/ mods
98 200sx SER w/mods
2002 Eclipse Spyder
cavalier z24
V6 mustang (don't what year, wasn't the new ones)
and a crap load of riced POS's
this just in..last night (VW GTi VR6 Golf) right from the stop light.
loses...
Mustang GT (just wanted to try)
GSR (said he wasn't squeezin) lost twice, you tell me.
haven't really lost to much to post. HE HE
This comment goes to White SE-R SpecV, I don't how you got smoked like that. Especially to the RSX, mods couldn't have done that much for it. I test drove the TypeS and I didn't any feel any power out of that car. Now top end, I don't know how they...I couldn't drive that hard to find out. But trust me, it can be done. I personally ran two of them, both different drivers.

The same RSX TypeS that I beat before saw me last night and he said to me that he learned how to drive his car better and that he wanted another shot, so naturally I said SURE WHY NOT. So we went to the normal racing spot. Lined up, beeped the horn three times and took off, I will admitt, his launch was a lot better, BUT..... once I hit second he started to fade BACK. He was probably about 5ft from the rear bumper the rest of the race. Then we ran again and the same thing happened. I said to him, GOOD RACE bro and all he could say is ''Man I need some damn mods" and then we just went about our business. So White SE-R SpecV, it is possible or put it this way, if I would have lost, it wouldn't have been by much because performance wise....even though they don't want to admitt it our cars and theirs are about the same with average drivers. Unfortunately that car is our biggest rival and I'm afraid were just never going to get along. OH FUCKING WELL:devil: I love my car.:D

I think that's enough for now. Man, now that I looked at this list, I feel like I wasted a lot of fuel. well I am going to retire from racing for a little while, gotta get my oil change done. This guy with a 198x trans am wants to race me for a long time, his brother owns the cavalier that I beat. And best of all this guy was hitting on my girl when they went to high school together. Did anyone race a trans am yet? I think I'll get my ass kicked. again.

thats wierd that you lost to a v8 ram. i wooped one. i mean killed it. you sure have lost a lot. haha. i guess i just kinda pick my races. you've raced some sick cars though. some fast behind cars. the only cars i've lost too were a brand new prowler. and a bmw. those things smoked me. haha

Yeah I thought I was gonna eat him. and then he caught me by surprise, that thing sounded mean I dunno if it is stock or not. I guess everyone has different taste. Some how it just doesn't appeal to me. But gotta admit, fat 20's in the back and 17's in the front does look kinda cool. anybody know if that focus rs is gonna be released? crazy 240hp and front wheel drive (svt chasis)..... sounds like a beast. Oh shoot, going off topic here. gotta add one more kill to the list man, raced a Caravan on the way for super. He almost crashed into me in a turn, I guess he thinks his van can out handle me haha.

just thought I should let you know theres no such thing as a 3g talon, for the 1g's there was the eclipse, talon and lazer, for 2g, the lazer disappeared so only the eclipse and talon were left and for the 3g's talon dropped out and mitsu completely redid the eclipse and dropped the turbo in favor of a v6 (supid decision).
It looks like you've raced some pretty sick cars, ones that would rival even my top races

lol, damn thats pretty sad about that supra...
as far as the talons, I see what your saying, I guess those 1st 2 could be considered 2 different generations because they changed the lights. Personally I don't think that a change in the headlights is enough to call it a seperate generation of the car, but thats just my opinion. Those things are sick though, that 2.0 engine is way overbuilt and can handle some serious power.

Yeah those things are strong. actually all those talons are my friends'. The guy with the automatic 93 is pushing arround 400hp in it. He was so unlucky, his car got burnt down recently. He invested over 30g's in his car including purchase price(he bought it used in 95 if I recall correctly). Oh well at least he got money back from autopac and he is buying another automatic 93 that is already running 13's from a guy in Thompson Manitoba, I think it's red. now his goal is to beat the fastest talon in canada. I think the fastest Talon in can. is owned by a guy named Marco (forgot last name), and I think it runs high 9's. It's funny why my friend wants to beat marco. It's because (that marco guy owns a shop) my friend ordered a talon transmission from marco, and marco sent him a galant transmission. eventhough both transmissions are coded the same, the talon one is stronger. my friend then tried to reason with marco to get his money back, but marco said that it was what he ordered and refused the refund. Then my friend blocked the visa fund transfer and shipped the tranny back. But marco never gave him back the shipping and handling. That's the reason why my friend wants to kick his ass.

Well I don't know if this holds true completely, but my friend has an 00 maxima se auto and he raced one and beat it by about 5 feet. I've raced my friend and we are dead even up to 100+. So I think that you could take one, considering the spec-v is faster than my se by about .7 in the quarter
edit: I just checked car-stats.com and apparently the 1.8t is faster than I thought, maybe my friend raced an auto...either way it looks like it'll be a driver's race

ok this is why I asked. One of my friends owned a SiR. He admits that it's slow, but for some reason he thinks he can kick my ass. (actually I think it's because I ran a 16.6 on his G-tech with mad wheel hop and launched like 1 second after the g-tech showed go, and he ran a 15.6) anyways, he was talking shit to me, I didn't say anything, so he suggested that we race. to make a long story short, I smoked him by 2 car lengths twice. then he started talking shit about how a 1.8t that's owned by some guy he knows can eat me he claims because that guy's got a chip in his 1.8t. so I told him to bring it on.

yeah that's the gain they're claiming too. I'll still race him, just add one more ride to my already massive got killed list.

Not to sound mean, but there is no such thing as a Convertible Z06. All Z06 Corvettes are Hardtop Coupes. What you most likely raced was a Base Corvette convertible.
You've raced all sorts of cars thats cool as heck, good kills on the ones you did get.

Thanks for letting me know, I am not very knowledgable in American cars. I thought z06 was what the model year is, like r34. anyways it is a convertible and it's still really fast for a base model :D

ah, thats cool. You're thinking of the C4, C5, etc. Those are the body codes for corvettes, just like B14 and B15 are for the sentra. The z06 is the fast(er) version of the corvette, complete with better wheels, intake-duct-things in front of the rear wheels that im not sure of their purpose, among other things

Here is the deal with the GTI. My buddie has 2001 and we had a throw down earlier this summer. Stock numbers for the GTI 150Hp and 155Tq. He has an aftermarket ECU, suspension and tires. When he turns the chip on he puts out 197Hp and 240Tq.
First run he had the ECU off. I had him by about 2 cars.
Second, third and fourth runs he had the ECU on. I beat him by about 0.5 to 1.5 cars each time. Problem is that he can't get the power to the ground. If he launches over like 2000 he just sits and smokes the tires. If he launches under 2000 turbo lag kills him.
We did one run with a rolling 20mph start and he handed me my ass!
I am stock.

Okie Dokie,
Last night on my way home from Taco Bell I was waiting to turn left(forever) and then a white integra passed me and revved. I decided to go hunting instead of taking the left turn I was originally gonna make. I followed him to a road that I knew well and we lined up. Rolling at about 20mph the ominous three honks emerged from his car, I knew what to do. We both nailed it and we both went back and forth, back and forth holding the lead. now, this guy had a passenger but he also had work as I found out, but I ended up taking the win in my BONE STOCK (minus air silencer) Spec-V. I waived him over to find out what he had done. He informed me that he had an intake and a muffler, and oh yea, it was a de-badged Type-R. I dont know if I have a freak Spec but wasn't I supposed to lose?? I only beat him by about a couple of feet(almost a front quarter panel) but he had some mods. Anyone else have experience with these cars?:flash:

That passenger must have made a little difference because two of my friends have typeR's. The one I wouldn't even bother to mess with because he has Spoon and Toda mods in it. The other I can kind of hang with, he only has intake and exhaust. So I would say that you did right by that. Are you sure it was a TypeR?

Im positive. I waived the guy over and took a look at his car for a sec. I have a friend that has one that im setting something up with to see if this was a fluke. We'll see.

forged piston kit by Toda? What does he have done? And I agree there very quick stock as well.

Murco: Yeah my tires are pretty bad right now, but the clutch is not too too bad. I can only drop it at 1500 rpm, or I'll just hop all over the place. I'm just working on a ghetto mod for the egine mounts, and hopefully that'll help.
hybridsol: what's up man, I want to have a run with you too. The problem is that I would probably never be arround the PA area in my car mainly because I live in Canada :D
hey liquidsilver, I think the Gti that my friend's friend has is a brand new one, and he claimed it has 180hp stock, still not race with him yet.

hey my friend has an early 90's crx and is desperate for some mods (he's real slow, its sad), you got any suggestions? All he has is intake and exhaust, so a header would be a nice addition, but I don't know what else on top of that since I'm not much of a honda person. Maybe cams, pulleys, etc.
also, that sounds like a nice setup you got, have you taken it to the track yet to see what it'll run?

Well first off thanks, and no I haven't been to the track yet. Um what motor does yoru buddy have in his CRX, is the first thing, if it is a stock motor I'd tell him to save his money for a swap. After that all motor is more respectable but if he wants super fast build it turbo. Tell him not to go cheap though no matter what he does, if hes gonna build it build it right..GOOD LUCK!:frog:

I beat another Type R. My friend has a yellow 02 with DC intake, some Venom computer thing, and timing gears. My car is wierd quick and I dont know why. Any possible explainations or similar experiences would be apreciated. The only modification to my Spec is the removal of the intake silencer box, nothing else. I want to have it dyno'd but dont have the cash right now. I'll let you know when I do though.:D

the bullshit just got too deep to walk in........... first you beat rsx's (bullshit) then two type r's (bullshit) but you lost to another nissan a 240 sx with considerable less hp than the car you yourself have (Man the life boats!) (wow man you keep beating cars that have much more hp than you do! type R US stock 195 Jap 197- stock your car 175 and its heavier, what gives???? RSX type S 220hp, what gives? It figures you lose to a nissan with less hp than you. Somebody is a little biased. (raise the flag)

I' just showing you how unbelieveable your stories are, you say your car is stock? What is removal of the intake silencer box does that mean you took the intake air box off and your running bare naked intake or what? your the one being the jackass I'm sorry to say. I would love to run you, and i'm sorry you live so far away. I'm not saying I have anything against your car, spec v's are tight. You have to admit your stories are a little unbelieveable. After all type R's teg's and RSX's arent two of the car's in honda's match up that line up with your car. I could maybe see you beating a GSR teg. But not one with that much more hp than you. And two of them give me a break.

alright, first the rsx-s is 200hp, not 220, and who gives a flying fuck about peak hp, its the power under that curve that gives it the real punch. stock the type s makes about 20 more whp than the spec-v but makes around 25 less wtq. The spec-v is also around 60 lbs lighter than the type-s. Ultimately it is a driver's race. About the type-r, I have no idea which will win, but according to car-stats.com, depending on the year of the type-r, it runs between a 14.8-15.2, I know several people who have hit a 15.0 in stock spec-v's, so back up your claims of bs before you just make an idiot out of yourself

(wow man you keep beating cars that have much more hp than you do! type R US stock 195 Jap 197- stock your car 175 and its heavier, what gives???? RSX type S 220hp, what gives? It figures you lose to a nissan with less hp than you. Somebody is a little biased. (raise the flag)
:dogpile: its piling on!
alright, first the rsx-s is 200hp, not 220, and who gives a flying fuck about peak hp, its the power under that curve that gives it the real punch. stock the type s makes about 20 more whp than the spec-v but makes around 25 less wtq. The spec-v is also around 60 lbs lighter than the type-s. Ultimately it is a driver's race. ok you are correct rsx's are 200 hp, although your weight ratio's and your and your torque are incorrect, as well as your type R or B18c5 195 times plus the specs on the car remain consistant and unchanged 97-98 2000 type R B18C5 3Gen displacement of 1797 compression of 10.6 : 1 and hp of 195 @ 8000 rpm and torque of 130 lb/ft @ 7500 rpm made in the USA unless its Jap manufactured which they made from 95-2000 type R B18C5 3Gen displacement of 1797 compression of 11.0 : 1 and hp of 197 @8000 rpm torque 134 lb/ft @ 7500 rpm made in Japan perhaps you are reffering to a straight b18c SiR which is made in Japan and is rated at 178 hp. take note that any type r teg takes at a higher revolution that any spec V. Ok here's your proof and this is like the fifth time ive posted this... I don't think you quite grasp honda's "torque to HP" availability, lets compare an s2k to a E36M3 Beemer regarding torque. The S2000 motor produces 240 HP at it's peak of 8300 RPM. The E36 M3 motor produces an identical 240 HP at it's peak of 6000 RPM. However, the BMW motor produces 236 lb-ft of torque at a relatively low 3800 RPM, while the S2000 motor produces a mere 150 lb-ft of torque at 7500 RPM(simular to spec v vs the integra type r only the teg has more hp). but if you compare 1/4 mile times and 0-60 MPH times, they are nearly identical. How can they do this given the vast difference in torque output of each motor right.? A car accelerates hardest (fastest) at it's torque peak. In the case of the M3, this happens at a low 3800 RPM. On the Honda, peak acceleration doesn't occur until 7500 RPM, and peak HP is achieved at 8300 RPM. Where the BMW is forced to shift at 6000 RPM (it's HP peak), the Honda is still pulling towards it's torque peak, and eventually it's HP peak. So while the Honda motor doesn't pull harder than the BMW, it's high torque peak allows it to pull longer. Ok torque and horsepower. Torque can be multiplied through gearing, while horsepower remains unchanged. The Honda can be geared to produce sufficient torque in the (low RPM range) to allow it to accelerate strongly right up until it hits it's own torque peak. This also allows the Honda to accelerate strongly up to it's HP peak at 8300 RPM prior to shifting. As each car shifts gears, you are effectively reducing the torque available to the rear wheels in exchange for speed. This is what allows a car with significantly less torque, but equal HP, to accelerate at a nearly equivalent rate. ok bottom line honda's don't lack torque, they thrive in it. diffent usage of power dP COMP. everything is different. now the spec v is an awsome feat of nissan engineering but you can see how it is hard to believe the claims above but as I say innocent until proven guilty. who knows (i believe the story) Probably an excellent driver, or maybe the person he raced couldent handle the car the possabilities are endless. (and cut back on the name calling guys)

sounds like a good argument to me :) as far as the weights I got, I got those off of honda and nissan's web pages, 2767 lbs (1255 kg) for the rsx-s and 2,708 lbs for the spec-v. For the hp and tq ratings I looked at several dyno graphs of the 2 cars, on average, the rsx makes 165hp and 125 tq, while the spec-v makes 145 hp and 150 tq. The times I got for the type-r were just off of car-stats.com, which isn't a very reliable source, but it can sometimes give an idea. Again I have no idea if a spec-v could beat a type-r stock for stock, maybe if the type-r had an inexperienced driver, but as far as spec vs rsx, I know many people who have beat rsx's, and many who have lost to them, it is simply a driver's race

This is exactly why I thought it may be weird. Im not saying these cars arent formidable foes but rather I was wondering if I should be beating them. I am a good driver with over 6 years professional experience in drag racing BUT It still seemed weird. All the dogging can stop cause to be completely honest, none of these cars are FAST. They are quick but not fast. If you wanna talk about FAST, I have another car for you and trust me, your cute little RSX's or type R's aint gonna hang. I dont care what kind of intercooler or whatever, so if you wanna get rudeabout things, kiss my ass.

Fast is when my mustang runs the quarter in 10.92 seconds at about 127 mph. quick is 12-15 seconds. And yes, the mustang is street driven and will pass emissions with the catalytic converters installed.
