I am thinking about ordering a CAI this weekend (maybe cat back exhaust too)
I was thinking about going with the Lingenfelter one

They have two separate ones though for lt1 camaros, one for for 93 and the other for 94-97. My car is a 93, but the engine is out of a 94. I wonder which one I need. I'm not sure though but I think I kept the throttlebody from the 93 engine though.
What do you guys think? Have you heard anything about the lingenfelter cold air intakes? They make some dang quick cars and are pretty well known in the automotive industry so I would assume its a quality purchase?

It almost looks identical to the K&N cold air kit. I can't really see the difference between the 2 from that pic. So I'd compare the prices between the 2 first. I'd also recommend looking into SLP's cold air kit. That's the one I got, it looks and sounds great. Though it is around $215, might be a little more pricey than you want to pay.

theres also the moroso cold air kit which is around $170 i believe. most for the LT1 look the same unless its for an ss or WS6. i would not get the intake unless you already have a performance exhaust or are planing to get one in the near future.

I will be doing it about the same time I put a magnaflow cat-back exhaust on. Maybe the same day depending on how I play my cards right.

The differences in the CAI's should be specific to the year of the chassis of the car, not the engine.
